Senior Steel Detailer:

This individual will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Performs job responsibilities while fully and effectively participating in all relevant company programs, policies, procedures, and initiatives;
• Identifies and reports any contract discrepancies and provide RFI’s.
• Models all facets of moderately complex structures and input standard and generic types of connection;
• Produces clear, accurate and well laid out erection drawings;
• Identifies and challenges connection design anomalies and inconsistencies;
• Checking drawings for conformity with CISC, AISC, client, and Atlas’s standards
• Edits most types of assemblies;
• coordinating with project teams;
• Strong organizational skills using effective time management
• Experience in Drafting Project Coordinator role is an asset

Qualifications:

• 7 years’ Experience in the use of Tekla Structures is required;
• A good understanding of technical structural drafting terminology is required;
• Working knowledge and understanding of fabrication and assembly processes;
• Have a good understanding of welding symbols and procedures;
• Deadline drove with an attention to detail
• Ability and willingness to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment;

 

Intermediate  Steel Detailer:

This individual will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
